what is gratuity-free & transparent pricing?
Put simply, it's a straightforward way of charging you for my time. You know what you're investing, no surprises. I can customize your appointment to your needs and you won't have to worry about hidden charges (particularly important with color services!). Add-ons such as conditioning or repairing treatments still are still available and can be booked online with your appointment.

$200 with gratuity included
This is great for all other new clients looking to maintain or change their current style and curly folks with finer hair.
I specialize in short cuts, bobs, razor cutting, with a focus on easy-effort looks. If that's not you, don't worry! I adore my long-haired and high-effort clients too!
new client haircut & curly set- 1 hour 30 minutes
$240 with gratuity included
This is the best haircut option for new curly clients.
I mainly do classic (wet) cuts on curly hair. I occasionally use dry cutting techniques, but it is not my specialty. The extended appointment allows for resetting the hair, customized product application, and drying time.
new client single process & haircut - 1 hour 45 mintues

Do you get gray coverage or an all over color? Maybe a couple of highlights to add dimension? Then this is the service for you!
I specialize in beautiful, long lasting gray coverage, vivid reds, and rich brunettes, all customized to your lifestyle and maintenance needs.
*Price includes retouch ("roots") only. For an end refresh, all over color, or some added highlights there is an additional charge starting at $40.

Do you get highlights throughout your hair to enhance or transform your natural color? Typically, this is a blonding service, but highlights can come in many colors! If this sounds like you, book this!
I specialize in believable, naturalistic looking highlights that look great even as they grow out.
Price includes toning/glossing if needed.

All appointments are booked online so each new client can read and agree to salon policies. A credit card is required.

All no-shows incur a fee of 25% of booked service.

Late arrivals (15 min+) can receive partial service depending on time, but will pay the original booked amount.
JRo the Studio is located on the 2nd floor of a mixed-use building at 56 Wareham Street in Boston's South End. Please ring the salon on the intercom and you will buzzed in (do not "message" through the intercom). Take the elevator to the second floor. Studio 208 is located inside of Area Salon Studios, which is to the left when you exit the elevator.

Street parking in the neighborhood is plentiful, but be mindful that street cleaning is on Thursdays (Mar-Dec). Check the signage.
Tip: if your appointment is over 2 hours, feed the meter, and take note of the time and zone. You can add time from the ParkBoston app during your appointment.
The parking lot behind the the building is not public, but there is a public lot under the highway on Albany St.
